By all accounts quite a few Saints fans were giving Eastmond a hard time verbally last night. Is it any wonder he went straight down the tunnel?



FWIW I felt sorry for both the Saints half backs last night, they were playing behind a pack that was battered.

The pack was that battered that half the game was spent in Warrington's twenty? What was needed was direction and craft from the half baks which ultimately never came. Of course, Phil Clarke was waxing lyrical about Warringtons defense, but Saints getting into good position and not even looking like doing anything with it (ala Cardiff) is a recurring theme.

Any supporter from Bath or Sale who saw Eastmond last night must wonder what the hell their club are doing trying to sign him.

If he doesn't go this next week he won't be on the plane to Catalan for Saints next game. Simmons just won't select him in the 19.

Perhaps thats what Eastmond wants though? to be left out of the team and earn easy money.

Wash your mouth out immediatley! It is never acceptable to feel sorry for Saints players when they are losing.

On the back of penalties and Wire mistakes, not from their forwards (apart from Roby) gaining any yardage.

If he was a Wigan player, he'd be in the U20's next week. Interesting to see how Simmons manages him if he's still a Saintts player by then.



He's a talented player, but he's taking the mick out of his mates, the club and the fans atm.

Should definitely be dropped, absolutely shocking performance & clearly uninterested. The moment he es off to Union the better, Saints will always bring through a classy player to replace him anyway, the jumped up upstart.

He wouldn't have been anywhere near the wigan team in the first place.And should not have been anywhere near the saints side..he clearly is not mentally there anymore and surely the coaching staff saw that in training.

Saints should make up his mind for him and should just withdraw their contract offer and tell him to go.

It looks to me as if his mind has been made up.
