Got ours today, and yes, it's a darker red than in the players pictures, but in my view it's more of a cherry shade - so we can hardly moan. I'm pleased with it - except for the badge, which is a bit crap. Don't understand why we can get a fully embroidered Magners logo, but not badge. Happy that the hoops go all the way round - I'm perilously close to 40, and wouldn't have a name/number, and the white box would look odd without it.
And yes, you do have to have the sponsor on the back. When I got mine they were already on the adult shirts, but were putting them on the kids shirts as you bought them. I asked for it to be left off & was told they couldn't, which is understandable given the company has paid money to be on the shirt. It won't get in the way of player names - they go below it (as in the picture with SW, Radders, and the bloke who I thought was a new prop until I read the article!)

I think someones mentioned him on here previously, but anyone seen the guy with the tash who must be in his mid 40s and goes in the full kit -
Think he had Joels name and number on the full away shirt last year - At first I didnt laugh as thought he must be retarded, but I think he just falls into your category!! |

tbh i think the iron on sponsor sticker on the back look tacky
i compared them on the racks, and settled for 2 without, only to find they were sticking them on.
lets have sponsors on the front and sleeves....but leave the back alone...it looks out of place..and cheap |
