| Would it not be better to do it pre game and have the players from both teams plus match officials stand as guard of honour doing the salute with the crowd and let the Johnsons walk out on to the pitch with Jack and the ambasadors for the cause. We all do the salute, Eddie explains to the fans watching at home what is going on and the cause, everyone is happy. If this doesn't happen then i am going to spit my dummy out and call you all knobs  . |

I think i might get shot for saying this on this forum but hey here goes!
Didn't the Latics fans arrange a 1 min applause in their final game in the 8th minute to celebrate 8 years in the premiership? I wonder how they arranged that so that all the fans knew - couldn't we do something similar to promote?
