7 games left with nothing riding on them, going to be tough to keep motivated.
If Wigan were in Saints position what would you do, rotate the squad as much as possible or try to keep momentum going with your first choice 17 ?

Id want momentum, Saints have been relatively injury free all season and there’s no reason why that won’t continue so stick with your starting 17

| saints have been winning the games they didn't look like winning until the last few minutes of the game over the past month or so, some by close margins.
i think they will drop two, maybe three games during the 8s before the play offs but the LL is 100% theirs. they've been lucky with injuries on the whole and not that i'm wishing injury on anyone at all, i can't remember a season for a long time where a team has been injury issues free ALL season.

Not quite injury free. They lost Walmesley for the season and he’s a big player for them.

| That’s probably the most impressive thing about them tbh, to lose a top quality player like Walmsley and hardly have an issue replacing him is some going. I think the bulk of the praise on that front needs to go to Luke Thompson and (through gritted teeth) McCarthy-Scarsbrook. They’ve been excellent in his absence and drove them forward. The other two props in Amor and Douglas look pretty average even in a team playing that well.

| So we’ve got Saints, Huddersfield and Catalan away, Warrington, Hull, Cas and Wakey at home. I’ll take that all day long!!

| We'll have to play a sight better than we did tonight to retain 2nd spot and get a home semi.
That list is very doable.
Winder said that Lockers and Williams will be back for round 1 with Sutton the week after.

| Tomkins and Williams half backs for the rest of the year, it's our only hope.

Is this confirmed?or just going off previous years? Gotta say we couldn’t have asked for better fixtures, really glad to get Warrington,Cas and Wakey at home. Top 4 you would imagine is in the bag but I really think we need to get that second spot but if I’m honest I’m not confident of beating any of the other 7 on current form (bar maybe Hull).

Sam was excellent last night in the halves, Escare was very good at full back, Woods struggled and Powell was just horrendous again but I have no faith that things will be changed.
Powell is being hung out to dry. If we don’t get him out the halves then we can wave any chances of getting to Old Trafford goodbye. He is a hooker and a hooker only.

Yes mate. The outstanding results from this weekend won’t impact on top 8 positions. I’m not taking any credit, good old Bilko worked the fixtures out. The fixtures will be announced at noon on Wednesday.
