| Is it a bad thing? if we cant sign a decent replacement this year, he can fit in and give some young ones a chance and we can have some experience in big games if the young ones are not upto it...alot of people was like "Maguire who?", in IL we trust.  IL deserves a birthday round wigan town centre for what hes done!! Leg-end! |

The guy is 37, soon to be 38 and he is NOT Stanley Gene......(who played on until he was 56 as we all know.... )
To even suggest that he could offer anything on the playing field is laughable. |

I don't think any Wigan fan would be making any irrelevant reference to his sexuality  The only possible reason anyone with any decency would mention his sexuality is to note how sensitively Thomas talks about the issues around coming out, the difficulties he has had in coming to terms with his sexuality and the positive step that it was to be true to himself and to live openly as a gay man. It takes real courage to do that. Thomas is a very impressive speaker and I think someone who could do a lot for the game in helping people within RL and the wider community with these issues.
But since we're on the subject of sexuality, I have to ask: is "homesexuality" what might also be known as "keep it in the family"? I gather it's quite popular in Warrington.... cue the banjos... it's Deliverance time.... |
