I didn't think it was that bad. The Hudds player was beginning to go down. It wasn't a swinging arm, just a shoulder. However it think it deserved more than a penalty. Should have seen yellow IMO but i'm not sure it deserves a ban.

The point of it all is that Morley doing those types of hits are aimed to cause injury and if Lima gets banned for that tackle then Morley should be for those.

Big hits are legal in the most, do we ban them all ?

Only those with a clear intention of injury. In some ways that was as bad as a swinging arm because he is intentionally doing something to hit someone in the head/face that he knows he won't be cited for but could still hurt or injure the player

You can get seriously hurt in a coventional tackle, i had 3 serious injuries as a kid from nothing tackles.



There's no escaping injuries, it's a tough game.

The paranoia and wire fixation on this thread is hilarious. The tacke was identical to when he hit HH last year when Hansen did unbelievably well to keep hold of the ball. Moz shouldn't have been penalised but was - end of story.

and therefore was dealt with... ie; they felt it did not warrant being cited! so penalty was the appropriate punishment, that's all i was saying, i'm still a little perturbed you ran away with your fingers so freely and called me a moron when you've never met me & more importantly i feel that your perception of morley's tackle like mine had been viewed through somewhat biased eyes, i feel that whoever was responsible for citing/not citing morley may have been a little more objective about the whole process.

Its nowt to do with Wire he just happens to be a Wire player. Its about how Lima got banned for a lot less dangerous a tackle.



Wigan have nothing to gain from Morley being suspended as we dont play you soon enough for it to matter. Apart from maybe your performances suffering against other teams and possibly dropping points.

the key words are malice & intent, clearly morley dislayed neither lima was found to be showing one or both depending on how you view it.

Maybe his good behaviour went in his favour.



Morley is not a dirty player and his record since joining Warrington has been exemplary. It just shows how a former bad boy, given the right supportive environment, can become a reformed character.
