Didn't look like a knee injury to me - more a torn calf muscle - he had the tell tale pull up during acceleration / change of direction and immediately reached for that area. Suffered the same thing myself a month ago - just about fully fit again. Pain is generally high up on the back of the leg so makes people think that it is related to the knee initially.

Not a cruciate I don't think, my mates just spoke to his Brother and he says 6 weeks.

I expected worse from what some people on these forums were saying. Still a bitter blow to the team. Lockers is so pivital in both attack and defense.



Still it gives an opportunity (I hope) for Mark Flanagan or maybe even Liam Farrell to step up and show what they can do. The positive of using reserve players and giving them their chance is they will run their blood to water trying to impress.

Gutting if Hansen, MM and O'Loughlin are out injured for lengthy spells.

You never know then, he might make the semi at a push.

Watching Ainscough again today in the reserves, he is a long way short of being a first team player.
