| We need to offload both of them as soon as possible - Fielden without any question, Feka unless the new coach can get 2stone off him and make him want to tackle - looks utterly not d to me.

| Both Feka and Fielden are going nowhere until end of 2010 when their contracts end. It's what we do between now and then that needs addressing.
That we need more size and power up front is agreed by everyone.
If Bailey's season is over and so is his contract then he must be released. We do have plenty back row cover.
Bailey's money and poss Flanagan if he goes could be used to bring two props in for the start of the 2010 season. Surely with that amount we could afford a quality prop and, say, Griffin.
Griffin, Quality prop, Coley & Prescott would do fine then if there's injuries O'Carroll, Fielden and Feka could be called up.
Maybe if they are simply dropped for the Cas away game we could see how we manage without them.
I do think also that McIlorum is a big miss for us come interchange time.

| i thought prescott was your best prop yesterday, he's showing up pretty well recently, i didn't think he was much cop when he was getting used a few years back and o'carroll was the better prospect out of the two, maybe cutting the curly hair off has helped him.

Using those words just proves that nothing you say should be taken seriously.

| Fielden has only had one coach for club and country over the past six seasons and looks as though he is stale.
I would love to know how/what or any one on one training or advice Noble has given him to improve his game or reproduce his best.
I've never seen a player go so far backwards and so fast, he doesn't know how to run properly, he does not know how to shape his run or offload.

| The minute feka came on the field i knew the game was going to go downhill for us. IMO the odd great entertaining barge forward does not make up for his woefull defending. He's one of the laziest most lethargic defenders i have ever seen and warrington took advantage of that brilliantly.
Had noble chose a better time to bring him on i.e when we are attacking it could of been a different story, but defending those few sets on the bounce finished him off......
Coley for me played well and i can't see why he's been getting so much stick of people on here when you have the likes of feka and fielden on the pitch.

| AS I posted on the turning point thread.
t wasn't so much the substitution of Coley and Prescott for Feka and Fielden but the timing.
The substitution was made when Wire had the ball. We all know that Feka is not the best defender and is used as an attacking impact player.
When those two came on the field Wigan had no ball for the next 10 minutes, so the substitution was a waste of time.

| why are we surprised at this ??
ive been saying this for years now , you can almost set your watch by feka
noble brings him off the bench EVERY time at around 16 - 19 minutes
then goes off with 5 mins to go in the first half
2nd half isnt quite as predictable , but its not that much different from the first 40 mins
feka getsthe flak , but he's only doing what he is being told to do by the coach in my opinion
fitness ? i put his lack of it down to motivation , a big lack of it

Are people that stupid to think that you can actually sack a player without any breach of club rules. And if you just sacked him you still count it on the cap for that season.
Only way is for him to breach any rules and Fielden is not that stupid or if he asks to leave. Feka is the most useless impact prop in SL at the moment.
