i'll go along with most of that FT.
i think a lot of posters who are screaming for Hock to be the best second row in superleague, forget that the world class form they saw at 2nd row was 3 years ago. Hes older, and hasnt got the youthful athleticism and the turn of foot, etc,...hes still a good 2nd rower, but IMO he can be a WORLD CLASS prop.
hes got the strength, hes faster than any present superleague prop, and......hes got the "biff factor"...the "dont mess with my team mates " factor.........chuck him in at prop and watch him go...............light the blue touch paper, sit back, and enjoy some biff.........  |

Do you know Gareth Hock personally do you? He's worked tremendously hard to get himself back on track. I cant take anyone that uses the words "dumb ass" seriously anyway.
Knock on's and silly offloads are both things that can be corrected with the right coaching, anyone who knows anything about Rugby League and people high up in the game will all tell you that he has the potential to be a world class second row forward, he has pace, power, he can step, he has the size, his defence is solid and he has a huge passion for the game. |
