He didn`t seem to want to mix it up with Feka, he only does that with players smaller than him

| Any coach worth his weight in salt must be able to see that the conditioning at the club is absolute crap and the effect it’s having on his job.
Get Feka trimmed down to the size he was when he first joined, get Fielden bulked up like he was in his Bradford days and also get Riddell a little bit more fit.
I know Riddell has been playing very well recently and he’ll never have the physique of say Buderus or Cameron Smith but I still think his game would improve even more with a little bit of weight being shed.
It would almost be like having three new players at the club if we could get a little more out of them.

| Feka was decent Friday - not bad but not special. Awarding him MOM? That really was laughable. Nowhere near MOM!

| I can't believe that anyone who saw any Wigan forward of the great trophy winning teams can think its acceptable to have a fat knacker like that in a Wigan shirt.
If he's good enough for Wigan, then get used to winning nothing every season.

| An outside opinion of Feka:
He can be devastating going forward. This is mainly due to his size and he needs to retain that to be effective. He doesn't need turning into a defence machine. Wigan have enough of those. The more weight he loses maybe the better his defence and game time will be but he'd also be less of an impact!
Yes his defence can be suspect but thats not what he's there for is it? He's an offensive weapon............a bloody good one at that and from what I've seen his defence isn't that bad. There were more to blame than him during that "Warrington purple patch"
He can be a game turner, a match winner and he's pretty unique, teams need players like that.
I think the key is that he needs to be used carefully and sensibly from the bench. I'm not suggesting I would know how to do that but a good coach like Noble should.
Very often substitutions amongst the forwards come and go pretty much unnoticed............not when Feka comes on! Any opposition fan will tell you if they're honest that his introduction makes them edgy!
He will always have his critics just like Kevin Penny has but potential game breakers and characters like that are few and far between and would get my backing anytime!

I think that is a very accurate unbiased assessment.
As I have said repeatedly with regard to the semi final, it was the timing of the substitution that was wrong.

A point brought up by IL in a 'discussion' with Noble in the dressing room after the game I hear.

Pretty Good Post that!
And IMO he is the best at what he does i.e Impact Forward/Gamebreaker etc in SL ATM.
I liked Jonh's comments earlier and agree he has certainly had far more Very good games than Bad ones.
As for his game time, ask Leeds what they get out of Leuilia, Wire out of Rahiuhi (Have a look at his contribution for the past 2 x weeks!) Saints out of Mary!!!!!!!!! etc etc.
He has regularly been doing 40 mins + this season (Didnt he do nearly 60 at Saints???) and as far as I can make out if you have 4 x props then shouldn't they be doing roughly 40 mins each??????

And so it should have been a shocking decision, the only plus side was it highlighted how tatically inept the man is and hopefully saw another nail go into the coffin of his Wigan career.

I can quite honestly say that I am [inever[/i worried when he comes on against us. He'll make an odd run that'll take three players to bring him down, but then takes that long to get up and play the ball any effect is negated.
He doesn't make many runs, doesn't make many yards for those runs (even in his 'great' game against Warrington last week those stats were pretty awful) and leaves holes in the defensive line. [iIf[/i he can get the offload out then he can be dangerous, given the number of players it can take to bring him down, but that doesn't appear to be that regular an occurrence.
