The person isn't payrolled by the club therefore isn't obliged to 'play it down' I'd believe what this person tells me over a police officer who (no offence intended) shouldn't be discussing an ongoing case with any Joe Bloggs!!

I guess the precednet was set when the Bradford's NZ player, Dave Watson received a ban for marijuana in his system when pulled by the police. Although, that was pre WADA. It would certainly put the RFL in an interesting position, but they would have to do something.
