Just for him to come inside and help our forwards out considering we played with a bench of 3. I said in my post he did well to clean up that grubber and didn't put a foot wrong (in that he made 0 mistakes), but when you've someone of that size on the park, for them to not do any of the hard yards on a day like today is criminal imo.

After watching the game today, Pryce for some one of his size sure went to ground easy enough in the tackle.Didnt see him make any real impact a big lad like him should be smashing players out the way.

This thread just shows how fans can have a much different view of the same game.

I thought your forwards just edged ours today and your long kicking game and chase were excellent. As good as i have seen at Leeds this season. Your kicking close to the line could have posed a few more questions but your superior field position was on the back of a great forward display and kicking game.

A great close battle and Wigan fans should be proud of there teams efforts.

I am not sure what people expect from Pryce.The days of Jonah Lomu are long gone. All players are technically sound and also physically trained pretty well.



Pryce took the ball up well, found his front in the tackle, defended well and the clean up for the kick through was superb.



I would like to see a little more enthusiasm from him, and a little more decisiveness when returning kicks but that will come.

Some of our fans think that every other club in the league has kickers that find the floor and stand it up in goal from 60/70 yards out 10 times a game!

It doesn't happen, I don't particularl;y think our long kivking game is "The Best" but it's not as bad as some make out.



It's strange they complain about it when one of the supposed best in Sinfield kicked it down Richards throat all day!



Truth is, kicking the ball from inside your own 30 and espacially when it's on the last with the wingers dropping back means your going to find a player 80% of the time.



My complaint was waiting till the last tackle, should have kicked early with Richards and whether Smith etc catches it or not they're in their own 20 not ours!

I see what your getting at mate, its not like that, i have not said anything against wigan at all, in fact if you look, you will find i have said best team lost and i think you can make grand final from anywhere in top 8.



It was first game i have seen in about 5 weeks also mate.

Pryce is a huge player but he doesn't necessarily play like one. In a one on one situation I expect he'd prefer to try to round a player on the outside than try to force his way through them.



He didn't put a foot wrong (well, except literally when he slipped at a potentially crucial moment) and he defended the kick by our goal line very well.



The only criticism from me is the scoots from dummy half. He's nowhere near as quick off the mark as our other wingers so he can be quick sluggish, and when he does go into the tackle he's very upright and gets pushed back far too easily. I think he'd be better getting the ball as first receiver in those situations and running onto the ball hard like Richards does so well.

Yes i will be going back in september mate, i am not gloating one bit and not trying to bait any goons as that ain't my style!! In fact im pretty pi$$ed off with that comment!

I to think having Tuson on the bench and not Feka was a mistake but i wont give Madge any stick because what he has done so far since being at the club has been incredible and i'm looking forward to see him improve us even futher.



Having said that i think his biggest mistake was not putting Amos back in at fullback. Amos has that explosive pace and elusiveness imo he might have helped us create a gap for himself or someone else when we was on top in territory and possesion. Also we never had the option of the kick to the left corner for Pat which is one of our biggest threats especially in close games.



Anyway chins up and continue as we are in the league, these lads are doing us proud this year.
