Controversial, but I don't think it's as bad as some are making out? I've seen more malicious and cheap shots in my time.



Obviously there's a duty of care and the tackle has ended up badly, but I'm not watching that and thinking that he's aimed to slam him on his head. He's almost ragdolled him with a mini judo hip toss and it's sent the tackler well over the horizontal. Seems like the momentum has made it a lot worse than it actually was.

I don't for one second think he set out to do him but the way the Hull player ended up was horrendous

I think initially momentum carries him into a dangerous position I don't think there is any desire to put the carrier into the dangerous position. He does end up in a dangerous position though and I think it is the nature of which Pryce follows through with the tackle that will land him in bother. I guess he is going to claim he didn't realise that he had positioned the defender in such a way but I think it is the force with which he slams the player that is going to cost him a decent stretch on the side line.

I’ve not seen that until now. Thankfully the Hull player is ok which is the most important thing.

Why wouldn't he. I mean, it's far better that RL's most celebrated and biggest fixture, on its most famous date, is compromised for the sake of a bunch of head master type g!mps who love getting their rocks off banning people.
