Out of interest, why would you not play Dudson ahead of Fielden?

I thought Fielden did well after such a long time out, much better than I expected tbh.

I also see people posting as if they feel some insight into matters that the professional, experienced staff at Wigan Warriors don't.

Because Fielden is a champion, a leader and vastly experienced in big games.

Don't read to much into it, he only played so others could have a rest, he may have put a few tackles in but he failed at going forward, see you at Wakey next year Stu

Not rose tinted from me at all. I dont think Fielden should be retained after this season but he did do well after 2 years out particularly, playing in a team with only 12 men for 65 mins and another not match fit player in Leuluai. More worrying for me is that the rest of the pack have provided absolutely no go forward for some time now and have looked like a beaten pack in the bigger games of late.

Works both ways that.



He did pretty well for a bloke who's been out for nearly 2 years. He can and will do better as he builds up his fitness but it was a good first effort.



Will he get chance to do that? I'm not too sure. I certainly wouldn't play him and Dudson in such important games. We need to pick one and stick with them IMO.
