Interesting how they are all shoe-ins now they're injured?



Get a Saints fan to list our best 17 when all fit and you can be sure Wheeler/Eastmond/Soliola/Wilkin/Maurie/Gardner would be in there. The injuries are chalk and cheese.

Dont remember Phelps being names as the 18th man Feka has on a few occasions.

I think i am right in saying he played every game up to him doing his ankle then he has got knocks when playing his way back in the reserves or whatever they call them this year.

Well lets take Phelps he played well up to doing his ankle and was first choice full back hence the number 1 shirt.

Micky Mac has been playing better but is still a little slow at distributing the ball for me but he is getting better. I personally would have Deacon on the bench in his place but as i said thats my choice i feel Tommy gives us a bit more speed at the play of the ball like Roby does for Saints.

Personally I wouldn't have phelps or deacon in my 17 but hansen is a shoe in for second row as is mossop. I'm not the coach though and injuries permitting I would think that deacon and phelps would still be in the 17 more often than not.



But hey, you know the Wigan team a lot better than us just as a few on here know what's going on at Saints more than you.

Boo-f***ing-hoo.



Put your first-choice 17 against whoever we play and I'd STILL give us a better than 50/50 chance this year.



We have pretty much the same number of first team regulars out, so quit looking for excuses before a ball is even kicked.

If 4 (2 internationals) is pretty much the same as 6 (all internationals), then yeah you do.

No its not, it hasnt been the first choice since the first couple of games. Phelps has fallen way down the pecking order and he hasnt been selected for a long time, even when fit.

In nearly every game one team will have more injuries than the other. This week you may have more out than us, thats rugby, stop going on about it. Im sure Eddie will mention it enough on Sunday
