On a selfish note I hope he doesn't play because we will need him against Huddersfield that weekend.

While pleased for him I hope he doesn't play and is available for the Hudds game.

Huddersfield have a few players in the England squad, but they will be using it as a warm up game for the game against us

Yeah I remember a number of Wigan players playing for England against France the other year then playing against us about 24 hours later. Hopefully this will be a stiffer test and Hudds will be unable to play all of them on the Sunday.

Gutted! Was hoping he would be able to avoid being roped in to this pointless exercise.



Only positive is that it's an extra reason to hope that the exiles wipe the floor with McNamara's team.

With Mariano he has been just about our best player this year (and much of last) and probably deserves a shot. Trouble is we rely so heavily on him the last thing he needs ia another game under his belt, the opposite would be much more helpful!

I dont know how seriously the game will be taken, but the Exiles squad looks pretty strong in all departments.

If "Bluey" can orgainse them quickly enough, I think we might get taught a harsh lesson.

On paper it is a much stronger team than the England one IMO.

Good nod for Morro, but as I posted on another thread, I think he needs a rest rather than another game; hopefully he won't play, or will only play a spell.



Conversely, let's hope the Hudds players get crocked; I could live without the usual 50+ drubbing they put on us.

With my Trin head on I hope he doesn't get selected, but I just heard him on the radio and he's chuffed so for his sake I hope he makes the cut (only plays 20 minutes and doesn't get injured).

Great news for Glenn and Wakefield Trinity. It's not often we've a player representing his country or a select team.



Whilst we'd all like to see him playfor WT, we're not much of a team if we can't cope without him for one game. It'll give another bloke a chance and obviously allow those younger members more responsibility which is only good for their dvelopment.
