Night closure at Brighouse (J25) to (26) Chain Bar.

Thanks for the heads up. Any idea where we can find out what time it closes from?

I think it's usually 8pm till 6am the following day

The closures will commence at 8pm in the evening and be lifted by 8am the following morning.

We'll have to take the scenic route like after the widnes game, I think I'll pack the sleeping bag!!!

Seen elsewhere it saying Junction (24) Ainley Top and (25) Brighouse......



Does that mean we can exit at Brighouse (25) as that would be no problem for me as I'd be coming off there anyway.....?

The Highways Agency will be installing 36 new gantries and refurbishing 16 existing gantries on the M62 motorway in West Yorkshire between junction 25 and junction 30 from March to November 2012. In order to carry out this work safely sections of the M62 will be closed, there will be 20 closures.



You can get off at 25 Brighouse and the matrix signs are saying its just closed between 25 and 26 this weekend.

Working in Oldham and driving from Wakefield everyday its normally faster to drive through Dewsbury and Ravensthorpe though i am usually driving at rush hour, it is more or less a straight road from Dewsbury on Huddersfield road/ A644 and then on at Junction 25 hope this helps.

do it every working day and it is faster but watch out for 6 yes 6 speed camera's
