With their recent run of 4 straight losses, this one no longer looks like an impossible fixture.
We may be struggling but, for champion pretenders Warrington, the wheels seem to be falling off.
They have a squad (on paper) that we can only dream of having but, 4 straight losses and they are keeping us company
in the bottom 4.
Can we turn the corner with a win ?

Can't see anything other than a comfortable warrington victory. As our coach has said we are now already preparing for the split after round 23 so the rest of the season up to then obviously doesn't really matter anyway. Still every minute matters..

Bog standard rugby required don't even attempt the flash stuff. Wire like to throw the ball about, but if it does not stick them become frustrated and then start to loose it. A good performance and who knows.

Thought that the leeds player was going down to the deck when scruton came in so a 2 game would be harsh. Penalty at the time would have been the right call.

I take my hat off to those fans that continue to pay to see sub standard SL rugby from the whipping boys of the competition.  It's not something I can either stomach or afford.
From today's press release the fans might aswell save their money and not go to the games until after round 23?

Loss of revenue with comments like that....how many times will the club shoot themselves in the foot?
That Halifax game in a few weeks looks like another likely bannana skin for the club and kick in the nads for the poor Wakefield Trinity fan.
We get rid of Richie Moore now 34 and get Ian Kirke now 33 who has still not played a SL game yet for Trinity injured for 4 months and probably won't against Warrington.....watch Moore be the Halifax man of the match. It's his size and aggression we should have appreciated and kept him for this season.
Not heard much about Lopini Paea's injury? 1 or 2 players back in next 2 or 3 weeks which is likely to be Kirke and Gilmour. |
