Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have been fined £1,000 after the club’s supporters threw two smoke canister devices on to the pitch at the First Utility Super League Round 1 fixture against Castleford Tigers played at the Mend-a-Hose Jungle on February 8, 2015.









Warrington have been given a formal warning by the Rugby Football League about the behaviour of their fans during the Cheshire derby at Widnes over Easter.



Play was stopped and the referee took both teams off the pitch after a smoke canister was thrown onto the field of play in the early stages of the match at the Select Security Stadium on April 2.



An RFL investigation discovered that Wolves fans also threw coins and bottles onto the playing surface

Have we already had a formal warning?

Well then, what I want to know is, why haven't have Cas been fined for the crowd trouble two seasons back?

Because there was no trouble that is why we got no fine you are making it up.

In my opinion, we have got off lightly with this. There has been to many incidents at Belle Vue.

It is so sad that a few mindless morons grab all the headlines, that applies to any club.

Congratulations that you still have recollections of 2 years ago the medication must be working. Perhaps an increase in the said medication would help you remember what really happened, if it doesn't then perhaps "go north" and multiply.

Pretty sure when you came to our place in the Agar vs Millward era there was some crowd trouble and we took the flak. By the RFL's logic Cas should've been fined as they failed to "control" their fans.

Over 3 years ago (April 2012). Was your rabble that day as well as round 1 this year. As your crowds dwindle the idiots will stay away don't worry about that.

So back to the point.....



No more sniping about Cas. They are nothing to do with this.

Back to the point. I would be interested to know how the club could have prevented this happening and I think its totally unfair to give us a fine for this.



The only way I could see a fine being fair was if it happened INSIDE our ground because that is the only place we have control.



Or we found out later who the culprits were and failed to take any action against them.

I think your missing the OP point here Stevie boy, Wakefield and even Cas who have been dragged into it, rightly or wrongly got fined for their fans' indiscretions, Warrington whose fans have been found guilty of the same thing we have been fined for have virtually been let off with a warning, it would not have made any difference to us if they'd been fined, but it would have shown that the RFL treat everybody the same, where as on the face of it there's obviously one law for some and another for others.
