Has to be said is an bloody awful place to watch RL when it's teeming down with rain.

The East stand is a joke, massive puddles of water everywhere, water dripping down all over the place.



We do need a new stadium.



Another gripe - we have been going into the bar behind the sticks in the Benidorm flats all season for a drink before the match

(instead of going to the Ruddy Duck) yet before last nights match we were advised by a mumbly spotty youth that it was

'pass holders' only. When asked why now he just mumbled something and looked away. Strange.



Cats bar was hot, humid, packed and had run out bottled water so we just went and stood in the rain.

Pretty miserable all in all last night.



To be fair to the club you do expect better bloody weather in the middle of June





Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Have to agree, on what was a miserable night of rugby that torrent of water that gushes from the east stand roof is appalling. I know its been like it for years but surely it wouldn't cost that much to sort that area of roof out

I paid £2 to go and sit in the stand as it was terrible out there last night. View so bad I was back down on the terrace by second half.

Called in Cats bar at half time after losing patience waiting for coffees at the wooden kiosk. Service really needs improving here.

Unfortunately it was little better in Cats bar.

However what struck me most was how shabby it is now looking.

Customers (ie. the fans) will not continue to return if the continue to receive poor service in awful conditions.

DIRECTORS PLEASE NOTE.

Cats Bar was a mess, and the staff aren't the best. It does need sorting as we must get decent revenue from it.

Back to Ruddy Duck for me pre match at least until there's some improvement.

Is there an attitude of why spend money on something if its still getting plenty of punters in?



As an aside, I would've thought the ownership of Belle Vue would've been decided by now. Seems to be taking a long time.

Didn't hear an attendance announcement last night, looked a good crowd.

I understand that the bar behind the Benidorm flats has been members only for a couple of years now. Yearly membership or pay on the night.

Yes the stadium is on its knees we need some positive news regarding bv or NM it's just a bloody mess

30 plus men in a blacked out, and I mean blacked out, not just gloomy, shed (toilet, rear North Stand) all taking a leak. The stuff of nightmares. Not helped by whinoes commenting "pay the bloody lecky bill Wakefield" Embarrassing.

That leaking drainpipe half way down the East Terrace is part of the history and fabric of Belle Vue. Always a few stood under it to tick it off their bucket list.

I'm a big fan of old grounds but have to admit they're bloody grim places in the rain.
