The day he leaves our club will not be a day too soon. Yes he can do some good things in attacks but his handling errors and jumping out of the line have cost us umpteen points. He is a liability and hasn’t changed in all the years he’s been with us...please, please Chester get rid!

In some ways I quite like the lad. I will admit he has made some improvements in his overall game. He is 100% effort. But I am afraid he has no game intelligence. He runs around like a headless chicken at times. Yep scores some good tries and take s bit of tackling with his loping stride and strength but he just has too many brain farts and coughs up the ball or makes defensive errors. Our defence is for me far stronger when he doesn’t play. He is a great championship player whwre the intensity and challenges he will face are ess but at this level, my heart is in my mouth every time he runs the ball in. It always looks like it is liable to go tits up at any minute; a bit like fifita I would have to say too!

If we are going to progress, the likes of Lyne and Fifita are not the way forward.

So he doesn't possess high levels of attacking quality, but anyone who can defend like him and provide lots of assists would be way out of our league

Can't agree with that part one bit. Without him we'd virtually have zero go froward at all and gives us decent minutes as well. Yes he can give the odd lazy penalty but what forward doesn't, especially Props.

I have always felt if he had self belief he would be much better but he seems to doubt himself and with that lacks confidence.

With Lyne i've always thought he's got bags of natural ability but not enough upstairs to know how to use it. Most of the time he looks like he hasn't got a clue whats going on!

I’ve read that before Sam I’m afraid..it’s been a few years now and it just keeps happening..sooner or later you just have to say he isn’t good enough and enough is enough..On Fifita...well.. maybe I am annoyed at his errors which cost us tonight. I will concede he gives us go forward when he plays the percentages. I wish he would respect the ball possession more. But I still feel we need better. Ben Harrison gave some daft pens away but as he gets stronger from injury you see the kind of man we need. I suppose it’s too much to hope we might make Wires an offer

Seems to have a perma-contract. Personally can't wait till it expires and hopefully it won't be renewed.



As for Fifita, he does as much damage to his own team as he does the opposition. Perhaps we've not seen the nest of him due to the depleted pack but mostly I've been underwhelmed.
