There is no ability to put a man through a gap. Trinity had ample possession to be much closer to HKR but do not have that final spark to covert possession into points. Knock ons and the wrong option at crucial periods put paid to any chance of winning.



Rovers were not much better but the had the players to convert the chances they had.

We have a team of honest toilers, but don't have anyone with any flair and creativity on a consistent basis. Cooke occasionally has, Jeffries occasionally has, but occasionally isn't good enough.There was nothing today from half back.

There's just not one thing that is marketable in the side; not one reason to even think about wanting to bring someone along for the ride - in fact there are more and more reasons for people to get off the roller-coaster.

Even in defeat you can normally point to positive aspects of our performance. Today i'm afraid there was little if anything to make me think we'll get another win all season.



We've been reliant on a strong attack as our defence has always been shocking. Unfortunately we're very predictable going forward with two attacking plays which Hull KR snuffed out after 10 minutes. Our defence was typical poor and KR looked like scoring whenever they got into our 20.



Start planning for 2011 because we've absolutely no hope of making the play-offs and we'll be lucky to make the top 10!

I agree, we would not have won the game they were far better than us, but he would not have rolled over for his belly tickling like a few did.
