| It seems, unfortunately, that advice from the majority or Wakey fans and many other throughout the game, has fallen on deaf ears!
Bullbuilder has decided to support the clubs fund raising efforts and prop-up the existing BOD at the Bulls - [urlhttp://www.bullbuilder.co.uk/NewsItem.aspx?GUID=4f6b16ce-ca07-4608-ab22-ffe0a72661fa[/url
I can't help but think they are making a huge mistake and delaying the inevitable!
I also think, as a neutral who inadvertently had a front row seat when Trinity went through this, I think they are kidding themselves with statements like this "given that the club’s position is unique and not directly comparable to other recent administrations, such as that from which Wakefield emerged last season."
Let me tell you something, it is almost exactly the same and most of you guys know it! The only difference is the owe the tax man even more money than Wakefield!
I for one think they and other fans and clubs supporting this, are potentially making a huge error that they are likely to regret this in the too distant future. I genuinely hope they don't and I personally would be delighted to be proved wrong!
I wish the Bulls and their fans all the best... but equally, sorry guys... I am out!

I think the problem with BullBuilder is that, although they have the mechanism, they never envisiged taking a share of the club and they don't have the manpower or will to do such a thing. Whereas at WT that was always a consideration, if needed.
Hope it turns out well for them.

| Ted was after about £500K to keep us going however when we all saw the true picture its obvious that wasn't enough. If we had raised that money the club may have lasted another couple of months at the most.
Bulls are wanting twice that amount but I would think the true amount of their debt is probably over £2M.
However if the board are confident that two lots of £500K will see them through without problems, I would just like to echo the thoughts of a poster on Total RL.
"Why dosn't Hood and a couple more of the directors put up their house as collaterol if they are so confident that this amount will see them through"

People let their hearts rule their heads - that's why sports clubs are rarely run like a business and why these things continue to happen.

| There seems to be quite a few Bradford supporters willing to bail out the current mismanaged BOD simply to protect their ‘future star’ players.
Whilst it’s painful to see lads that have come through the junior ranks hawked off to the vultures, it’s the club they support, players come & go.
Take the hit, start again, and follow the Wakey model.

| Why hasn't anyone said any of this in the press or on telly and radio? We all seem to be aware that that best thing for Bradford long term if to rip it up and start again, even though no-one is a fan of the results of administration on small businesses who get screwed over.
Why do I see article upon article about how Bradford 'have to be saved now' or will 'go out of business' it just doesn't add up (much like most clubs balance sheets.)

Shoddy journalism.

| Don't know if its been mentioned elsewhere, but Steve O'Connor at Widnes has chucked £10K in, claiming its times like these when the RL family should stick together, or some such guff!!
Is it me or is this a world away, from when we were in such troubles?
The media reporting of it, the need for the RL family spirit, the "genuine" moist eyed nature of it being a terrible thing for the game of RL more so than for the Bulls club itself.
I'm beginning to feel quite ill!!

| Their board say they have a plan in place to make them sustainable but seems to be being a little bit coy over what that future policy is. How do all the people pledging know that the way they intend to make themselves viable isn't developing good players to sell for a profit? I'd want a few more hard facts before parting with any cash if I were them.

| I'm just glad that other people have the same opinion as me in all of this.
This isn't a charity fundraiser, there are people at the Bulls who have seemingly allowed this to happen. They are a business and businesses cannot expect the public to pay their debts off.
Hope the Bulls can survive but there needs to be change and a long term strategy in place IMO.

| It'll end in tears I'll tell thee!! What's to stop the RBS, who have already turned down an increase in facilities leading, in part,to this cash crisis, immediately using any of the newly raised cash to reduce its exposure still further?? Bradford fans who believe the pledge/donation route leads to salvation should be seeking assurances of the clubs bankers before a penny is paid over!

| And now Leon Pryce is auctioning off his Grand Final winners shirt and ring for the cause. Leon, do that for a proper charity or your own benefit, not a rugby club. (Not that I mean to tell people what to do with their own possessions, but I'm sure you know what I mean.)
Why don't people understand that there will still be a rugby league club in Bradford regardless of whether they raise £1m or not!
