Just read that Ocado the supermarket delivery people have short listed two 350.000 sq ft sites for a new warehouse. One near Manchester one "near Leeds". Wishful thinking or not?

Would be good and with that and the cold store it could go along way to trigger the stadium build. It would be good to get something sorted so we can head into the new structure with the new stadium in our business plan.

There are rumours of interest in NM beyond Newcold, but whether this is one of them - who knows - we don't!



What we do know is that NM is the best distribution site available, probably anywhere along the M62, right now!

Are they not the distributors that are partnering with morrisons for their new online presence, so wouldnt they be needing extra space in this area ?

I asked this previously without a response. How would relegation impact on our move to Newmarket? Is the build, our rent agreements etc based on superleague income?

Nothing to do with it the stadium has nothing to do with the club, the club will be an anchor tenant that's all

Interesting debate on the radio earlier today about the potential to introduce so called 'mega-trucks' to Britain's roads; I wasn't listening closely, but the gist seemed to be that they can only be used to transport goods on motorways between distribution centres, due to their size and lack of manoeuvrability.



Don't know if it'll come to anything, but a development like that could make locations like Newmarket take on much more relevance.

That is part right, but the ability to pay the rent will impact on the stadium, so there is an indirect tie-up.



We can't build a stadium that no one can fill!

It was the rent angle I was getting at. Could we afford to play there as a championship club? And is there any risk that the stadium could be built with a lower capacity, less facilities etc should we not be a top flight club and attendances natrurally lower? Or is the design set in stone whatever, so to speak?
