It will be very interesting to see the Leeds 21 - they looked off the pace for much of the game yesterday, albeit helped for us by the pressure put on them by us but, I was expecting both clubs to go with very youthful squads.

Assuming that the likes of Myler and Hurrell were among those rested due to covid, it will be too soon for them to return (hopefully).

The reason some players are missing are purely rotation and allowing certain players to rest as we do have some fresh bodies. It’s exactly the right call to get those fresh bodies on the park on Sunday.

It’s highly likely, that Sunday’s game will be the last for Trinity this season. There is a SL meeting sometime very soon, to cut the bottom five clubs adrift this season, to allow the top 6 play a mini competition to the grand final. I’m not sure if Catalans will even qualify if they can’t complete the required 15 games.

It cant be right to set a 15 game minimum and then cut 4/5 game (or 8 in Catalan's case)..
