| Half the Aussie test pack were as some would say'overweight'.I seem to remember reading somewhere that latest idea was that carrying that extra stone helped to avert injuries in the collision.

There were certainly a few who were carrying a few pounds, but these were the "run it in hard" kind of players, whereas Huby is a bit better than that. Having said that, Solomona was never trim and he did okay.

| From what I saw of him at Cas, he was a cracking player; not quite the class or brains of Graham, but a similar type of prop - big, mobile and with a decent offload. I haven't seen much of him at Shudds, but what I have seen, has been significantly less impressive.

| I'd take a punt on him personally, classic Wakey signing and to be fair, we could use a bit of experience in the pack with Scrutes going.

Agreed.
If we could get him fit enough to play 20 games in a season, he would be an excellent signing.
Like others have said, he had a poor season at Shudds, although, most of their squad had a poor season, which points to something other than ability being the problem.

Completely exaggerated as ever, can't imagine why.

| Really do wish people would get their facts right before posting . In his first season at Hudds (2015) Huby played every game (32) . Last year he missed the first part of season with broken wrist sustained in training. Came back from that successfully . Not a liability at all .

Frustrating isn't it. Certain posters claimed Ferguson was now a ten game a season crock yet he's played none stop for two years and just completed a successful four nations. Why people chose to peddle rubbish baffles me other than they must have an agenda against the individual.

| Vasty : Massive step forward because 1) Huby is a better player than Scruton ( I rated Scruton who was my player of the year for the 2015 season ) and 2) Huby is a miles better option for us than the the work shy fop Anderson. So in my books that represents a massive step forward.
To be honest Vasty if Huby really is available I can see plenty of other clubs would be in for him so would be a real feather in the clubs cap to get such a high quality player to sign.

Wearing Giants gear.'"
Wish we had gone to the Cutsyke game now. Went to Lock Lane V Methley and if the ref hadn't blown time early the Lane would have passed 100 points.
