What we got to take into consideration is Lyne is young, more gametime the more he'll improve albeit no world beater.

In his last year of a 3 year contract and haven't seen enough to make him justify a new one. Unless he is on absolute peanuts.

Has been given enough game time over the past 2 seasons to make a name for himself, whilst our own have been short changed.

He may have scored a good one against Saints but how many has he turned down or missed?

Think you wrong here pal, Lynne only signed at the start of last season so you are being a bit harsh criticizing him for before he had even joined.



For what its worth I think he has potential and he has bulked up and if he cuts out the silly errors he could be a good player.



By the way he needs confidence and he aint going to get that with everyone getting on his back.

He signed for wakey on a 3 year deal in the closed season of 2012-2013 so has only played 1 full season HTH

Hull didn't want him cos he was soft , if your soft at 18 never mind 21 youl always be soft , sorry he looks the part but he's in the wrong game ,young lads who make mistakes can put it down to inexperiance and learn from them when you make the same mistakes constantly all to do with courage you've got a problem

He has got real pace for that length of the field try against Wigan. Some of the feedback from Wigan is that he is a strong, quick lad and took some tackling the other day.

All true - he just needs to grow a pair, and fast.

Not to knock Lynne but my biggest question is why did we sign him I feel we MUST look to our own academy more than we are doing. Last year Kay looked just as good if not better than Lynne, Jowitt played very well at Hunslet and is probably worth a run in the first team, Cowling could probably have done a similar job to Lynne. And then there's Walshaw...... Might not have pace but I'd love to see any 3/4 line stop him in full flight. To me Wakefield's biggest fault is not trusting our academy lads more, and its was a failing of more of our coaches than just Agar. If we're bringing in players they must be clearly better than those we have, or can those in our academy.

In my opinion, when you are young you can learn to be brave. Experience teaches you that.

I didn't like him at centre because he didn't have the skills but at wing he looks ok.

He isn't shy about taking the ball up so he isn't a coward.

I remember David Finch signing for Wakefield as a winger... Big lad but didn't handle the transition to the pro game... Accused of being a bit of a soft lad... Went back to amateur (nor my it think) bulked and moved into the forwards... He was picked up by Cas an became an international second row...

As I've said before pop tart reading your posts your a smashing bloke willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I really do respect you for that but I don't agree with your view, a kid growing up can learn to be brave ,can realize he's got courage but this his a grown man if he's iffy now he'll always be iffy my personal opinion
