Wakefield captain Jason Demetriou is looking for a new club for 2011 after revealing the Wildcats will not offer him a new contract.
The 34-year-old centre or loose forward, who is currently enjoying a three-month testimonial awarded by the Rugby Football League in recognition of a decade's service to the English game, insists he is not yet ready to hang up his boots.
"I am really enjoying playing at the moment and feel I can play another seeason," Demetriou told the League Weekly newspaper.
"It would have been nice to stay with Wakefield and finish my career with them but it's not to be. I've no hard feelings towards the club.
"Hopefully, I'll get another Super League club. I think I have a lot to offer still and to play 10 years of Super League would be something to be proud of."
Demetriou, who also hopes to play for Greece in next year's World Cup qualifiers, began his English career with the now defunct Lancashire Lynx in 1999.
