The shirt would remain the same i'd imagine. However the main sponsors could well change depending upon the new owners. Although i'd imagine they may well want to keep potential sponsors on board. But that's a long way down the line yet

I don't think Eric personally would pass the fit and proper test (given he can't be a company director) at the RFL, but Jonathan France may well do. I just don't think they are really in the running but could well be invited onto the new board or have some share holding by invitation. All this is pure speculation and nothing more though at this stage... it is just a waiting game.

Bumped into one of the club "employees" in ASDA a couple of hours ago (not prepared to say who to protect their identity), and was told that all potential owners have given verbal assurances that all season tickets, and sponsorship deals will be honoured, when whichever one of them is successful, actually takes over





All staff are obviously hoping that their positions will be safe under new ownership, but at the moment there are no guarantees.

I've been in the shop today and the staff were helpful and very upbeat about Wakefield's future, I do hope no-one has been abusing them it's not their fault.

Most if not all fans know that it is not the people who run the shop that are to blame, and if more information came out of the club at the right time this would probably not happen.

But as should be expected when very little genuine/factual information is available fans react angrily at who ever is accessable
