Quote tropical1="tropical1"slightly o/t but i went to trinity walk for the first time on Friday, and I have got to say I was disappointed expected more and I can't imagine people travelling in to visit when they could go to the white rose with more shops and free parking (yeah i know if you go to sainsburys they will validate your parking ticket for 2 hr stay). What is the feeling amongst the Wakefield residents is it what you expected or has it left you felling slightly let down?'"
Compared to what was there before, I think it's absolutely cracking and as it fills up, will only get better. I'm chuffed that whilst there are shopping developments standing idle due to lack of funds/tenants in Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford, we've delivered both Trinity Walk and the Hepworth.
It's not meant to be a replacement for WR centre by the way - it's called 'Walk' because you can walk there for the centre of town.
