Looked good early on in season when we gave him decent service at centre. Very poor defensively recently and now as his future is elsewhere probably not fully interested.
After the Crusaders debacle there are obviously a few others, I think now is the time for the club to stop playing people who are not going to be there next season and run with who is.

I agree we should play a few more who will be here next year, masselot, tongia, Kaye, walshaw even.
At least they will get debuts out of the way and see what the SL tempo etc is all about.

Obviously there are better centres out there but I would have kept him, unless Widnes offering silly money.
He wasn't a world beater but he was good enough and we have other areas that need plugging more urgently.

First team jerseys are to be earned. The remaining games are all pretty tough I would say and apart from Tongia from what I have seen the rest are not close to ready for SL. I know there is 'nothing to play for' apart from not finishing bottom but by throwing these players in now that is exactly where we will be finishing. |
