Really bad move, I felt he was the better option to Wood to partner Aiton next season. Still if he's not going to figure in Agar's plans its better to free up his salary. Hopefully Trinity will not be contributing a percentage of Ellis' wage now he's at Featherstone

Suggests there maybe more to this like they have offered him a job part time as well and he's on a cushy number. Can't fault him as you have to look at the financial side of things first these days.

Ellis joined us from London on a 3 year deal, so he still has 2 years still to run on it. Got to admit I didn't think the rumors were true but there must be more to this than meets the eye, maybe he's on a decent deal, too decent and they thought the money could be used better else where, who knows but it'll be interesting to find out.

We can't afford the luxury of keeping Aiton, Ellis and Wood, so something has to give. If the squad is improved overall then fair do's; good luck to him and to Fev.
