best thing to do is go in to your sky planner settings, you can set to record programs by another X amount of minutes, I've got mine set to 5 mins more, i've not had any issues since |

I've watched both the prem and BBC versions of the England Samoa match and for once I have to say i thought the BBC did a really good job
That said, the commentary on the Aussies n Kiwis was even better, mainly because it was the A team......Rabbits and sterlo  the voice of RL! |

I've had Premier Sports for a couple of years and only started using their online streaming player this season due to moving away from Leeds. At the beginning of the season it worked really well and I had no problems streaming live games online. In the last 3 months their online streaming facility has plummeted. The final 3 weeks of the NRL season were horrendous. Stop/Start streaming and audio and visuals that were completely out of sync with each other. I've contacted them a number of times about this but never heard a response. On the basis of how badly it fell apart at the end of the year I cancelled my membership.

NOooooo! Did anybody else have the last 5 mins of nz v Samoa cut off ? I don't know if this is a sky plus or premier sports issue but with 5 to go in arguably the best international I've seen in years, the box announced 'end of programme' - watching it 30 mins delayed means i couldn't catch up - have I got to adjust my clock and can you do this in the sky setup ?
I've since looked up the result but would have been nice to watch it live...

| My sky box stopped working during the night for whatever reason, managed to get it on this morning after ten minutes to find the rugby hadnt recorded!  managed to watch the game on the premier player after logging in , great game which I found the score out just before watching.. |

This is what Premier Sports say about recording their live programmes
Quote Rumour13Only Sky are able to control record lengths of programs when the sport is live. We are working with SKY to find a fix but currently we ask you do one of the following to avoid missing the end of live games you record.
Record the program that follows to make sure you don’t miss the end.
Add the max 10 minutes to the record length of every program in Sky+ settings (this is not going to
guarantee you will see the end but will help)
Record the repeat which normally airs within 12 hours as this always fits into the time slot.
Complete a manual record by following the actions below:
Rather than record a specific programme, you can set the Planner to record a particular channel for a defined period. This can be useful for recording parts of very long broadcasts or when it's likely that a broadcast will overrun for a long period. Here's how to add a manual record to the Planner:
1. Press services on your Sky remote to highlight the Options menu.
2. Press select and you'll see the Sky+ Setup menu highlighted.
3. Press the left/right arrows to highlight Man Rec.
4. Press select to highlight the Channel Number and Channel Name items.
5. Type in the desired channel number, or press the left/right arrow buttons to cycle through the available channels.
6. Press the down arrow button to highlight Day.
7. Press the left/right arrow buttons to select the day of recording. The default option is Today. You may select to record up to six days in advance.
8. Press the down arrow button to highlight Start Time.
9. Press the number buttons to enter the start time.
10. Press the left/right arrow buttons to switch between AM and PM.
11. Press the down arrow button to highlight End Time.
12. Press the number buttons to enter the end time.
13. Press the left/right arrow buttons to switch between AM and PM.
14. Press the down arrow button to highlight Frequency.
15. Press the left/right arrow buttons to select the frequency of the recording. The default option is Once, which is for one-off recordings.
16. Press the yellow button to add the manual recording to the Planner.
When looking at the manual recording in the Planner, you will see the recording titled with the date and time. When trying to watch a manual recording in the Planner, you will be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN. This applies to all manual recordings, whatever their content.'" |

yeah the 5 min cut-off happened to me too, I started ranting at the TV at about 5.30am when I realised I couldn't see the finish

It did with me. This won't make you feel any better, but I looked for when it was being replayed, and as it turned out it was on at that moment. I tuned in and the game was a minute before the recording had ended. I felt like the luckiest man in rugbydom. Now I wonder whether the Ryan Hall decision was some kind of karma. |
