Pretty forthright in their attitude. The council have really back themselves into a corner with this. They won't have any fight to defend themselves in a legal case nor any money to either.

Can someone with knowledge of the original deal and know how on the planning etc explain just how Yorkcourt can absolve themselves of any responsibility towards the community stadium and it it the responsibility of WMDC to enforce the agreement.



Is there any precedent for 106 agreements being breached in this way or do we really have an utterly inept local authority.

Box , Walker and their council yes men have planned in conjunction with Yorkcounrt on this exact scenario. The sooner we move out of Wakefield the better.

Looks like 2019 will be our last season at BV.

its without doubt its the most snidy bit of work that must be admired from every con man in the country, what gets me is we have a Rodney Walker being part of it, I do hope he never sets back in this city every again he will go down in my books as the one that sealed the club fate.

TBF it's been a stitch up from start to finish, but it's been very well orchestrated and the club, Trust, Swag and council have been played like a fiddle.

Are they exceptional con men or were we naive and let slimey Rodders play his own little game at our expense? We'll never know but why did Rodders take the info regarding planning and not inform the Club and Community trust like any normal person would? What is/was he promised for this act? I'm gutted today, without sounding over dramatic it looks they've brought out the big guns and they're far too powerful for our catapults.
