| Yes, unfortunately our modest success has attracted some low life, such as the fan who threw 'wee' over WAKEFIELD fans on three occasions from his plastic beer glass.

| From the pictures I've seen on Facebook, Griffin has got his 2004 Trinity shirt framed and hung on his living room wall.
Just thought it was worth a mention.

| Quote Wildcat26="Wildcat26"Happens all the time in league, Never thought it was worth mentioning. On top of that "a few drunken fans" were that of half of our supporters chanting that chant directed at griffin. I'd be more worried about the group of Wakefield fans causing trouble in burley park train station after the game, throwing traffic cones on to the tracks and pushing old men about. I was embarrassed to be associated with them and I know a lot of other Wakefield fans around me felt the same way.'"
Hmmm. I was on Burley park station from around ten o'clock, can't remember one traffic cone going on the tracks, did you actually see this? I saw kids playing with cones but not on the tracks.

| Quote PopTart="PopTart"Fans giving them grief were stupid and disrespectful.
Griffin answered in a way he felt they deserved. Can't fault him but he was lucky the camera wasn't on him.
Peacock answered in a very dignified way.
Agar talks about changing the perception of the club.
Those that give grief to players make it harder.
Those that throw the plastic beer bottles make it near impossible.
Trinity doesn't need it. If you are real fans you'll think about your actions.'"
The bottle thrower should be identified and banned for life somebody knows who the idiot is
Players also have a reasonability and Griffin and Peacock both failed in their reasonability

| I was stood very close to the number of people verbally abusing Griffin and in all honesty what they were shouting was vile and disgusting. I was ashamed to be on the same terrace. Whilst I think Griffin's action was not professional and I would never support it, he did receive a lot of unnecessary and unjustified abuse. I felt sorry for him and said quite openly that he is a human being too. The loud mouth in front of me chose to ignore what I said and continued his spiteful rant.
I saw Peacock talking with the crowd but couldn't hear what he said. Throwing bottles was a disgrace and I agree with the poster above that the culprits should be ejected. As indeed should the idiots who were throwing beer from the back over the crowd in front.
The players are there to entertain us and we need two sides to make a game. We should respect all players no matter how much anyone may dislike them. Laughing at their errors on the field is fair enough but abusive language is beyond reasonable.

| many years ago around 1962 I was a young lad, after a game against that great Trinity side I and a crowd of Leeds fans stood at the top of the ramp at Headingley after the game watching the players make their way to the dressing rooms after the game. Some of the Leeds fans were shouting comments at Don Vines at which he turned round and shouted in his south welsh accent "oh why dont you go get - - - - - -".

| Peacock was getting loads of abuse and replied with come down here and say it to my face which was responded to with plastic beer bottles. Peacock handled the situation in the right way and just turned round and smiled at the idiots who threw them.

Normally I'm not one to bear a grudge- but after Griffins antics after the Hudds game when he played for us, I can't say that I minded him getting abused like that vs Leeds.
The man is a first class tool.
