Nor the Bradford, Salford or Hull results. As much as a win next week will be pleasing it will be too little too late, it will also be very surprising considering known form this season and the fact that Salford got a hiding today that they will want to make amends for at home.

Of course we've had a recent slump but there have been some excellent games this season. But you concentrate on putting them down if that's how you feel.

Well done to all today. Great game, decent crowd, nice weather. Unfortunately result didn't follow on but it was worth the entrance money. That's enough for me.

I think Uncle Albert was wrong on more that one occasion, the Danny Kirmond play the ball incident and the phoney holding down. However the boys done good and on the whole it was a very enjoyable game apart from the result. If only we could play like that on a regular basis we would not be looking at 11 points but actually top 8. Next up Salford, we need to show the race horse man that us whippet racers are the business.

Thought there was an obvious head high shot Amor earlier in the set that we got pinged for the forward pass which gave them the platform to score one of their second half tries. Not sure how alibert missed it given the one he gave against Kirmond which was no worse

Cracking game today, a lot of errors from both sides but thought our pack did a great job considering the weather, just ran out of steam in the end. Great response from Agar and the lads today, obviously 2 points would have been nice but I was expecting a hiding to be honest, so a spirited defeat isn't bad against a team like Wigan.



Big game next week though, if we defend like we did for 70 mins today, we'll give ourselves a decent chance.

He "AGAR" used up the subs faster than normal to try and keep us in the game and it worked untill we ran off at the end.



That was always likely to happen but imo it was the right way to try and steal the game.

Much better effort today which is good to see, lets hope they keep those levels of commitment going now for the rest of the season. Thought Kirmond was immense but most of the pack had a real good dig. Out left hand side defence is a real achilles heel though, Lyne was all over the place and left Fox with no chance. Fix that up and the wins should come over the next month.

Don't blame the officials for the result but thought we had some hard calls against us.



Thought they only got a penalty which led to a try when Fox was coming back into the line after being injured because Richards protested and Alibert consulted with his linesman. Had it been the other way you feel he would have just played on.



Wigan's last try (which didn't effect the result) was short and then placed over the line which is a double movement and a penalty to us but Alibert and suprisinginly the in goal judge misssed it. Even Wigan fans in hospitality could not believe it.



Overall after the previous 2 weeks I was proud of the team and have no complaints. They "manned up" and if we continue to play the same we should pick up 4 points from our next 2 games.

To be fair I thought Kirmond going off injured was a big part of it by taking away a forward for the few remaining interchanges at the end.

Alibert is clueless and at times just makes things up.



I bet the Wigan fans feel the same.
