He's in a class above JD (no disrespect to him).

They come from the same player mould and the spirit im the changing rooms at BV bonds them.



They are both the same in my view.

I'd say JD and Morrison were equals as captain, all three were of a similar style of leading by example, but he's certainly the best english captain we've had in a long time.

Thought you'd react to this and hats of to you for it.



But not for me Al, JD's head could and did go down on occasions, that's not a criticism all folk are different. Yes when it really counted he was there so no complaint but Kirmond is like the duracel toy he just goes on and on and I just rate him in the leading by example route higher.



You could argue that JD was a deep thinker and as such things would overwhelm him whilst Kirmond is a big daft lad who will run at a brick wall all day long but that's doing them both a disservice

Kirmond is a much better player than Demetriou, but it's not for his talents that Demetriou is so admired, I understand that.

Every day of the week and the day after that one.

Both players offered outstanding quallities to this club, Glen Morrison could also be argued into this.

As a captain of our club you cant really compare them , JD was the skipper for quite a few years. DK is still learning as a captain and a player, not that he isnt doing very well at the moment! At their best they would certainly both be formidable players for WTW...

I had to do that Kirmond deserves every bit of praise and recognition he can get with the mammoth performances he puts in week in week out. A great player and a local bloke which is great.

DK is on great form at the moment. Some of those posts on the VT have obviously not seen him week in week out.



Last season he was good. Runs great lines, can break and finish. Defends like a deamon and the effort is unbelievable. This year he is in blistering form at present and there isn't one player in SL I'd want in our pack over him at present.



He does deserve a shot at the England shirt and I know alot of ppl say macnamara won't but surely he can't overlook him lately. Kirmond is hitting his form years as a forward and is an engine room player with a touch of class about him. Clearly enjoying his rugby.

He's like a JJB but 100000000x better, why woulden't McBanana want him?

He's not over 30, he doesnt play for Leeds, Wigan or Warrington
