18 points won't be enough for top 8, it'll be 22 points to secure top 8. We are not quite on track to achieve that as we are a few percent below that currently. What it means is that we need to win at least 50% of the remaining games, anything less than that and we're in the middle 8s fighting it out with the likes of Toronto and Featherstone for our spot in SL next year

I don't see that as a big issue.

We have played some tough games already and winning 50% was always the target.

We play the teams below us 6 times before the end of the regular season

Hull KR, Catalan and Widnes at home; Widnes and Giants away with Giants also at Newcastle

We should be looking to win all those.



We play 3 additional games at home against Wigan, Warrington and Hull each of which we have done at home before.

Anything we get out of those pushes us further into the 8.



Cas away, Sts away and Leeds away we have nothing to lose.

No need to panic at all, just need to learn lessons from this game going forward...



Not difficult to see where we went wrong, it was team selection...the Saints game, physically and mentally took a lot out of us and we didnt use our swuad depth to freshen things up...

In the interviews I've read with him he indicated that he wanted to play on and secure a new contract rather than have the operation. Let's give him the contract now, put his mind at ease, have the op and play with half backs who don't have injuries.

Finn is a player past is best this is why the team looks slow when he and Grix is playing. Great brain put him on the coaching staff and keep them both of the field

As everyone knows I wasn't here but I've watched the highlights back, should the try where BJB was knocked over have stood?

I thought it was ok tbh. Think BJB made a hash of positioning himself for that one. Either way as can be seen by the highlights it was our pivots and outside backs that all had stinkers. A few of the forwards weren’t much better giving penalties away and throwing the ball into touch etc.

Spot on again mate, I can only see the bottom 4 being cast further adrift. Salford have once again made the league position pundits look stupid (me included) Probably because Koukash had gone and with o'brien being sold it looked grim. I just wish somehow you could increase your crowds because you are punching way above your weight at the moment.
