| Quote PopTart="PopTart"That's when he's at his best. He's played like that in big games before but when you just need a metronome 7 who keeps everything ticking he needs a partner.'"
I agree PT, but he also needs to show a level of consistency in his own performances as well. When the lad wants to play he is brilliant, his off the cuff running game and his defence is up there with any other 6 in the league, hopefully if we can get a good organising 7 then he can just concentrate on the things he does well as you say.

| I thought it was alarming a farmer from Pennistone outplayed David Fifita but other than that a great win.
Sorry it seems to be such a dissapointment to some people on here,

| Quote homme vaste="homme vaste"Hypocritical in what way?
Loved seeing the lads get a win last night, I don`t think any fans ever don`t want there team to win, they care just as much as you do and that is why they are questioning what they believe to be right and wrong, nothing wrong with that.
Yes, the players played for him last night PT, why has it taken some adversity in the media for that to happen whether the comments were true or not? Chester said himself last week that he was looking at sacking half the team, so he obviously didn't think that they had been playing for him, or was he just saying that for a laugh?
In my opinion we still looked clueless near the line though for 90% of our time in possession down there, what did it take us 8 sets down on there line to score? =#FF0000Huddersfield also scored at will when they go to our 20, a win cannot mask the fact that fundamentally those weaknesses are still there as they have been in loss, we are likely to be less frustrated with it as we got the 2 points which in this business is all that matters in the short term, we did a good job of being smart with the ball, won the field position battle and we completed well and we just about sneaked it, also quite clear to see that we out enthused the Hudds team which was a real positive.'"
You make it sound like they scored 50.
They scored THREE tries in 80 mins and lost 18-14.
Edited for accuracy.....

| Quote Khlav Kalash="Khlav Kalash"Drinking a glass of water isn't a big deal generally, however drinking a glass of water after walking in a desert for a few hours will be the best experience you've ever had. Its all relative. All is not rosy, I dont think anyone is saying it is. There are so many things to work on, our attack is so unorganised and panic ridden, our defensive reads are more often than not poor and we wilt under pressure. Our edges are badly exposed. =#FF0000As soon as Sezer got a knock he was ineffective and that really helped us. Never the less the effort and work rate put in deserved the two points. Losing is a habit, that win will be a confidences booster for the players to take into the next game. They may lose, but that's sport.'"
Big Dave bringing back the biff.

Nowhere to be seen. Perhaps the garlic I wore around my neck paid off.

| Great to get a win at last! Thought Fifita was better, Arona is very valuable whether at prop or 13, Hampshire looks lost, Miller is the best option at 6 we have, and Jowitt was outstanding and just highlights why Walker wasn't needed! Might get panned for this, but I thought TJ & BJB were poor. Tom looks way down on confidence, which isn't normally like him, hopefully his tries will help. At least we have stopped the rot, just shows what some effort and desperation does for you........and a high completion rate for a change!!

I thought BJB was fine. More games he and Lyne get together the better.
TJ I thought was just trying too hard. He needed to just run with the ball and do what he does best. As you say that will come back with confidence.

He did what he does best, scored 2 tries. One poor defensive read for their third try, other than that, he did fine for me, won a couple of penalties and generally played well. I just wish we'd use him less as a battering ram up the middle. We need more kicks to his corner where he can outjump most wingers and centres and more from Max out wide getting the ball to him with quick plays and cut out passes and we'll score more points.

Very strange that you think a farmer from Penistone should not be able to outplay another prop from the same team, what's alarming is you comparing it to a good result, most disappointing.
