Not quite - he just sent a letter that rather artfully answered a question that wasn't asked in the first place.

If you were at the PI you'd have seen the proof he did object, without writing a formal letter of objection.



He wrote a letter of support for an objecting party. If you can see a distinction between those two things I think you're splitting hairs, obviously not RW's but still....



So I think the irony is still abundant & will taste just as sour should it come to it, but as I eluded to before, I think RW will take you down kicking & screaming before admitting he's done for.

That he didnt have to answer.. if he thought of the implications of doing so.

But probably should have declined to do so, in hindsight.

That kind of letter (and reply) is usually set up in advance, its not as though he was forced to appear, like a witness in a murder trial.

He was replying to a question on behalf of the objectors and his reply was written in a manner so as to make the point that there was going to be a Stadium at GH that they were prepared to consider allowing tenants to play there so there was no need for a Stadium at Newmarket.



All done to try and derail Newmarket as was the guy who had a business in Castleford and spoke on behalf of Methley Residents although he did not live in Methley but was thinking of may be buying a house there.
