I thought DB owed JK a great deal in the sense that if it wasnt for JK the likeleyhood of Dannyboy being a top SL player would have been remote. Shame really but thats how it goes, some people have selective memories. Before everyone starts jumping up and down saying "its a short career and players need to get what they can" etc etc - my sense of the situation is that DB would be on the best money he has ever earned in his career and the new deal improves what is already a very good financial position. |

I am just getting tired of the Brough situation, as for Southernwood - well it sort of beggars belief talking about bigger clubs wanting him when he hasnt even played at SL level. Can somebody have a little word with him and tell the bigtime charlie a few home truths. |

DB will sign a contract with us. I was told he was over the moon with the 2 offers only to turn them down so it seems. We NEED to pull our finger out on this one and pay what we have to. DB is our present and foreseeable future, What happened to the supporters fund, could we not top it up. i will chip in a tenner a month on top on top of everything else to keep top class players at my club.
Having said that i don't have kids so i can understand the situation being different for others.
PAY THE MAN WHAT WE NEED TO TED!!!-WE KNOW YOU HAVE THE MONEY!!!
