His skills and technique knowledge hasn't suddenly disappeared and his man management which was second to no one during his years over here with Hull and Bradford hasn't just evaporated.

Not a rugby expert at all just a die hard Wakefield fan concerned about my club. You can only judge by his results, signings etc. I was over the moon driving home from Newcastle even after just being walloped by Cas due to the news we had just signed him. I really thought we had turned the corner. However after one good result Hull at home we seem to have gone back to where we were. The players are not motivated, the levels of fitness do not appear to have improved. It was only through the misdemeanors of the regular team that the young home grown talent got a game. The signings Under Smith have been disappointing. The signing of Simon Grix and then stating he would not play was strange at least. I thought one thing that he would bring in would be professionalism, however we have had 5 players involved in alcohol related incidents in his short time.

He seems a really decent chap and no one can deny what he has achieved but maybe has just been out of the game too long.

Tim Smith as been sacked according to media reports

The media summary says he's been sacked because he didn't even turn up to the internal investigation.

There is only so much rope you can give someone.

Someone on facebook has said Lee Smith has signed for Bradford for next year, I presume if they get promoted? hence Brian Smith decided a few weeks ago not to pick him? #rumours..
