I have a wild idea why didn't we have replacements in place before we released those wanting to take up the Chairman's offer. I know it will delay the salary savings but would not have weakened the team at this time.

We need a full squad not one that is reducing from a very low level because it Hall goes and we continue not to play Sammut then a few injuries and we won't be able to field a team.

We also need to find suitable replacements but I have no idea where they will come from.

Not playing Hall in the mood he is in will definitely not weaken the team . Infact it will improve it because on numerous occasions on Sunday he was so indecisive when attempting to go for the ball the players around him hadn't a clue . Would be silly to get rid of domestic players before overseas.

Good domestic players would be virtually impossible to get at this point in the season to replace our own.

Overseas are easier to acquire at this point.

If we sell / let any player go to another english team other than the top 6 or so teams we could end up with egg on our face - stengthening the teams who need to beat us
