I would argue myself that where there is a lot of smoke there is usually a fire. I have no idea where the Brough story originated, but I do reckon that there is a basis to it, but that something said has, at some point, been misinterpreted before it came on here.



I would not have asked for 2 opinions on the matter had it not worried me - and even now there is a nagging doubt. But nothing has happened - yet - and, as said before, I will accept whatever comes - albeit it might take a while to come to terms with it.

Very good point TRB there were lots rumours of brough leaving cas for wakey and they turned out to be correct.



Would be a shame if he left you, he's a fine player with alot of years left in him that wakey can build a team around for a long time.

I've just watched the Boots'n'all podcast - acording to the commentary Broughy played scrum half for Cas against Crusaders!!

If brough goes I for one will be well and truely annoyed !

what about drew ?

I'd be less annoyed, as he hasnt as long a shelf life, but id still be annoyed.



Brough has years left the potential to be our next captain and to lead us onto better things. He's our academy product which will soon be imp as there will be a cap. He's a quality player.

It hasnt what about the beginning of last year, no drew to be seen where did we get, he has match winner written all over him. Of course the other players helped but he was immense, on sunday who scored and created the try's brough with 2 try;s, kick to blanch and help in another (iirc). Drew has been immense this year but is ooc whereas brough isnt. Will drew sign a contract, will he go home, can he keep it up for another yr or 2?.



Overall id prefer brough signing a 2yr extension than drew. Although brough signing and drew for a yr would be perfect. I dont like the sound of these rumours.

This year our support has been complete and utter garbage and I am ashamed of the wakefield public, they seem to prefer us been at the bottom of the table losing everyweek, perhaps they want to see something they can moan about

I travel to leeds to work and the traffic is half what it used to be, the economic climate has hit everybody hard, more out of work and have to watch their pennies, given time they will come back
