Owen had a good game last Friday and ran the ball in well, few errors and chased back to save a try in a crucial time of the game. He's also quick.



Let's not kid ourselves we ain't Wigan and if he hits some form and we give him the ball in any sort of space, he'll score some tries. He's also decent cover for full back as long as we secure SL quality players at the right price for next season of which he is one that's all that matters.

All fair enough but I wouldn't be chucking 3 years at him (if that's even the case) its not like he's in demand is it.

He'll probably score 5/6 before the end of the season and then play his last year out with Cas anyway...We can always put Lynne on one wing next season with Johnstone in the other.

To be fair to Owen he's probably had about one pass since he's been with us. Ryan Hall would look useless on our wings.

Correct. Our only decent centre is sidelined at the moment.

Ryan Hall wouldn't have had the pace to get back and make that tackle either. He's a bit of a juggernaught since he's piled on the pounds.

Agreed, look at Riley who i think has done well for us but has scored 1 try i think in about 8 games whereas at Warrington he averaged just under 1 per game.

Don't worry, Riley will even up the tally sheet by scoring 7 on Sunday.





Also, as well as missing a traditional passing centre inside, they have suffered from the absence of Ali.

Agree with your point on Ali, he attracts 3 or 4 players which creates space for other and he can get the ball away at anytime which often gives his centre or winger the chance to break.
