Looked at Kirke's twitter page and yesterday at 1pm he's been asked a direct question if he's 'signing for Wakey' and he's not replied from what I can see. Why not if he isn't?

Thats a shame, decent props are thin on the ground. Don't think we should be approaching him at the end of the season when Leeds let him go at 33 years old. That ship has sailed now.





Looks like letting James go 1 year into his 2 year deal may have been a bit hasty maybe he could have learnt something from Poore.

RA mentioned 2 props he was looking at, obviously one was Kirke and that's gone now. Wonder who the other one was?

There was interest in Sidlow as well but he'd already agreed to go to bradford. Mason wanted too much money.



Fair to say that the prop recruitment hasn't gone to plan recently.

From the point of view of not signing anyone i would agree, from the point of view of us not signing any old rubbish on big money or on a big contract that they weren't worth - i would say it has gone exactly to plan.

I'm sure something will "pop up"!!
