So I go back to my original point then - Twitter hype followed by crap announcement that doesn't actually tell you what you want to know.

RFL directive was for clubs to just announce their first home game and NOT give to give any indication of what round it was to be played. A couple or three clubs have cocked that up though and and announced round one fixtures meaning it can be worked out.

I can't disagree with that!

So in fact, surprisingly, another ridiculous decision by the RFL



What's the point of announcing one fixture early, either just give them all out or don't give any till Monday.



The people in charge of this great game are an absolute waste of skin in my carefully considerd opinion.

It's a taster and an announcement to keep RL in the media to build up momentum for the fixture release on Monday. Good PR in my opinion

I don't view announcing fixtures as 'exciting news'. If it is that exciting then let me feed more to you. We're going to play all other SL teams home and away next season!

I personally don't give a monkeys if it's cleckhuddersfax home or away for the first fixture and it certainly doesn't come under the exciting news heading as far as I'm concerned. let me get back to my painting and somebody tell me when there's something worth reading about!
