Agree there, we shouldn't be paying over the odds for average players. Agar has stated today that he is 'pretty certain' that we'll have another forward in before the training camp on jan 5th so we shall see what happens. |

It's a shame not to have it all boxed off by now but personally, I'm pleased that we're not breaking the bank for players; if RA sets a value and a player (or his agents) demands exceed that value, then it's right to walk away.
Just hope there's still a 17st, hard as nails rabbit to be pulled out of a (large) hat in the coming weeks.

| Wouldn't surprise me if we're still searching for a prop to sign and we don't have anyone in mind now that Sidlow, Mason and Kirke are not available.
There is Richard Moore who I think is recovering from surgery but Leeds probably want to keep hold of all of their players despite having 7 front rowers in their squad. Envy. 
What about a young promising championship prop like Sam Barlow (23 yrs, 6ft 3 inches & 17 stone) from Halifax who got selected into the Allstars team for his form throughout 2012. 
I'll keep my faith in R.A. but it is concerning, it'd be great if it could get sorted before xmas even if they don't play.
It'll be interesting to see how Trout goes on Boxing day playing above his weight & size in that position.  |

He's radio rental, that's his problem. Good player at his level but many flaws in his game and make up make it a risk we dont need to take. |

Am i right in thinking he played for our Academy? I know a few years back there was a Mark Barlow, but thought Sam played with us for a bit also.
Not a bad shout. I seem to remember JK looking at him a couple of years ago and he chose to stay in the Championship. Not sure as to the reasons why though?
