Well your miles out mate. we got a great deal with Brough and he had to go,the trouble is like I have said everywhere else we replaced him with a stiff (Cooke).

We also need an hooker by the way.

True and it was the space he created for the other players as well as the support play he did which this team have forgotten how to do.

Nail on the head! Kear built a good team, which is all the more frustrating. We were playing some brilliant rugby but i don't think you can blame him for Brough, Newton and Tronc leaving. Cooke is a stop gap in my opinion and whilst not ideal, i'd suggest it would be hard to find a quality halve at this point in the season.



I think Turfed summed it up best though, we have an average squad now, but what we can't accept as a fan is a lack of motivation and work ethic. It's not all the players, but we need it addressing asap and it's upto the coach to instill it within the players.



That said sacking Kear isn't the option imo

I'm not much of a statto, but I'll wager that his win to game ratio at wakey is better than any other SL coach with a comparable salary cap spend, and better than a lot with higher spend!!!

That to me makes him a quality coach and asset to our club.

Where he is, in my mind up for some slinging is the disasterous decision re : broughy!!

The money this club has trousered this season needs to be spent on a suitable brough replacement, because we are in great need.

People say we have been left with an average squad following the departures, but on paper the squad we have is better than Harlequins yet they can score points and good rugby league trys as well



Some blame for the current boring tactics have to go to the coaching staff

People seem to be forgetting,that Kear is part of the football committee that sanction comings and goings.

The players we have are Kears.

Kear signed the likes of Johnson,extended Demetrious contract,thought Obst was worthy of a quota spot,brought back Ben Jeffries,thought Paul Cooke would replace Brough.

Kear coaches the team,Kear should be motivating the team.

Kear is the man responsible,whether people like it or not,for our on the field performances.The book stops with him and at this moment that book should be thrown at him.
