and to be fair, internally at Fax we have improved massivley since we were in SL, as has marketing of the club.



i cant see, given a 3 year franchise, why we wouldnt be able to attract same size crowds as you lot, salford, welshies, broncos......

Then you see, it is a very bold statement then.

Don't get me wrong i hold Halifax in great affection, a proper club with great tradition, very much like Hull KR, but it will be a struggle and the fans will be watching a losing team, as most new teams to SL are losing teams.

Many of them only bring a few hundred.



agree with the bit at the bottom though, championship rugby would kill off a lot of our support.

We are at the bottom end of the league and averaging about 7k so it can be done.

It is all ifs and buts, i suppose we will have to wait and see what they decide.



whatever happens the RFL have made a mockery of our game, the best game in the world.



what annoys me, is we have done everything they have asked of us and more (back to back GF's)

There are only Leeds, Wigan and Hull KR who bring 1000 fans.

we used to bring loads to belle vue, from my memory, when we in SL.

You brought a few but it wasn't anywhere close to 1000.

We take close to 500 away now, so i doubt we were far off.

In the early 90's Fax used to bring tons to BV. Late 90's prob about 750ish.
